Description: Kent Nature Pond Pro•Clear produces and maintains crystal clear pond water • Safe for all pond fish and plants • Contains no phosphates, nitrates, or silicates • 100% biodegradable. Treats up to 400,000 gallons per 5 gal.
Directions: First adjust alkalinity to a minimum of 2 degrees dKH (or 40 ppm or .75 meq/liter), using Kent pH•Stable, if necessary. Dilute one to five teaspoons (capfuls) or 5 to 25 ml per 100 gallons (378 liters) of pond capacity in a gallon of water and evenly disperse around edge of pond. If possible, place in flow of water to pump for good dispersion. Precipitated particles should be removed by a properly working mechanical filter and fine filtering medium, such as filter floss, or siphoned out. Allow 8 hours before siphoning.
Considerations for use: Kent Nature Pond Pro•Clear is a long chain polymer clarifier which attracts dirt and murkiness causing particles into clumps which are easy to filter out or will settle to the bottom of the pond.
Do not use this product at night. Use several hours before dark. For best results, use a fine filter floss or pad filter and force water through it. Particulates will collect on this filter and can be discarded.
Determine the amount of Pro•Clear to use by how cloudy or murky the pond appears, and by what method the product will be used. If using a fine floss filter, use at the lower dose. If trying to flocculate, use the higher dose. Do not use the higher dose more than once each week or exceed 5 capfuls per week per 100 gallons.
If the pond is heavily loaded with fish and plants and has not had proper water changes, use Kent Nature Pond Poly•Ox first, to lower the dissolved organic loading in the system. Then, wait 4 hours before using this product.
