Also protects them from bacterial infections and helps prevent ick. Treats 2500 gallons of water per 16 OZ Instructions: Calculate pond gallonage using formula: pond length x width x depth. This will give cubic feet, multiply this number by 7.5 to determine total pond gallons. 1 fl oz treats 150 gallons of water. Dilute 1 part desafin with roughly 20 parts of pond water and disperse evenly over the pond. For small patio ponds use the bottle cap for measuring, each bottle cap treats 50 gallons of water.
